We went to Portland and we found hipsters. Lots of them. With mustaches, leather shoes, glasses, matching bicycles and cups of artisan coffee in hand. It was nice to get away with two of my close friends for my last spring break as a student. Locals in Will Leather Goods drew us a map of the districts and listed their favorite places during our first night when we meandered 23rd Avenue. Rain was inevitable but I think we may have brought some sunshine.

A few of our favorites were: Salt & Straw ice cream, Doug Fir Lounge, Dig A Pony bar and dance club playing funk, the Grilled Cheese Grill with seating in a renovated bus and Stumptown Coffee Roasters.
