Two thrifted books, one lavender latte and one mailed thank you note later, I'm situated at a window seat at my favorite coffee shop downtown to catch up on reading and writing. I'm afraid I've set an ambitious goal that if I don't meet, I will only regret. Here it is. I want to intentionally write, at the very least, 200 words every day, whether it be ramblings or purposeful thoughts. I think about my writing professors and all the writing books I've ever read and they both advise that the best way to start writing is by starting to write. So here I am, just me and a notebook and pen (after I finish this blog post). I inserted two hours worth of change in the parking meter across the street so here I go.
