I'm a procrastinator. I've put off sharing photos from an April trip to Las Vegas for far too long, so the time has come. What an experience. Two days of climbing, mostly with strangers that I can now call friends, in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area fed my addiction to the sport. I came home to Colorado in desperate need of a shower, but so happy to have spent a long weekend in the dirt. A small group of us camped in the serene landscape of Bureau of Land Management land, where we all crushed beers, camped out of our cars and even went on a 4-mile run along the desert road. Someday, I'll be back for more.

On our way out — back to BLM land near Moab, Utah — we drove through the Valley of Fire State Park because we hadn't had our fix of red rock. I wish we could've stayed longer, but we had to beat the sun to make it to our campsite. Next time we'll explore more.
